Podere Torricella farmhouse is located in the heart of Tuscany, in Val d’Era, few kilometers far from the beautiful town of Volterra.

It was built on an ancient watermill, its ruins can still be seen today.

The farmhouse is situated in the typical tuscan countryside and represents the ideal starting point for hiking or mountain biking.

It enjoys a favorable position because it is easily located at the intersection of S. Ottaviano Road and SS 439 Dir. Road.

It is only 4,5 Kilometers from Volterra, which you reach by driving along S. Ottaviano Road. On that drive you can see the most beautiful sorrounding landscapes and you will drive across the etruscan necropolis thus enabling you to enter the town of Volterra from the Etruscan Porta Diana.

With only one hour’s drive you can reach the most important cities of the region, such as Florence, Pisa, Siena, S.Gimignano and Livorno, beyond to the balnear places along the Etruscan Coast.

The farmhouse is open all year long. It is made up of 3 apartments that are completely furnished and have fully equipped kitchens: Casa di Pietro, Casa di Cecia and Mulino are the names of the three apartments.

Casa di Pietro apartment, 81 sqm, is made up of wide living room with kitchen, one single sofa bed, open fireplace, TV SAT, one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and bathroom with shower.

Casa di Cecia apartment, 61 sqm, is made up of living-room enriched with stone details, kitchen, one single sofa bed, one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and bathroom with shower.

Mulino apartment, 40 sqm, is made up of living-room with kitchenette, one double bedroom enriched with stone details and bathroom with shower.

The young owner lives on the property itself and he is a helpful and gracious host. He really takes care of his guests.
