Pian della Bandina is situated at 500m o.s.l. in the green umbrian-tuscany countryside. It is only 5km far from the peaceful community of Città della Pieve where there are shops, supermarkets and very good local restaurants.

The history of this typical umbrian hill-town within the province of Perugia dates back to etruscan and roman times. Città della Pieve is also the birthplace of the painter Pietro Vannucci known as Il Perugino (1450 - 1523), the first teacher of Raffaello.

Pian della Bandina is immersed in more than 100 hectares of woods and countryside landscape bordered by small streams where nature suggests pleasant walkings.

You can reach Pian della Bandina driving on the S.S. 71 Città della Pieve-Orvieto (till the 73th km) then on a nice countrylane passing woods and fields.
