A farmhouse in the beautiful heart of the Umbria Valley, sourronded by 10 hectares of olive groves, vineyards and fruit trees. Six independent apartments have been restored around the ancient stone house, which go back to 17th century. The farmhause is only 4km far from the historic centre of Perugia and offers a suggestive view of the Umbrian hills. Accomodation “La volpe e l’uva” farmhouse is composed by six independent apartments recently restored: Paulownia, Rocco, Oca, Fico, Riding and Alessandra. These are of different size and are testefully furnished with original and typical pieces. Apartments: Riding and Fico (sleeps 2+2, 40sq.mts) Ground floor, lounge with cooking area, TV and double sofa bed, double bedroom and bathroom with tub. Rocco and Oca (sleeps 2+2, 40sq.mts.) First floor, lounge with cooking area, TV and double sofa bed, double bedroom and bathroom with shower. These apartments are surrounded by a large common furnished garden, with play area for children. Paulownia (sleeps 2+2, 40sq.mts) Studio- Ground floor, lounge with cooking area, TV and double sofabed, double bedroom, bathroom with shower, little independent garden. Alessandra (sleeps 4+2, 115sq.mt.) Ground floor: grand lounge with large panoramic windows on the Umbrian hills, fireplace, TV and double sofa bed, kitchen and half bath. First floor: two double bedrooms and bathroom with shower. Independent, furnished garden with direct access to the swimming pool. Facilities The Farmhause is open yearly. On request, the owners prepare for the guests typical cakes for the breakfast and traditional meals. In the ancient stone house, in the heart of the farm, lives Alberta, that is a traditional umbrian cook. She offer weekly three different lessons 1 – Pasta (tagliatelle, lasagne, gnocchi, ravioli, cappelletti ecc.) pizza (calzoni, salad pizza, torta al testo a typical umbrian bread), ragù ( sauce for pasta). 2 – Meats (umbrian roast, salmì, cartoccio with erbs) 3 – tipical umbrian sweets (crostate, pies with cream, torcolo ecc.)
