The Masseria of Crucifix, stands on a hill overlooking Polignano a Mare, a distance of 4 km from the town, in that piece of Puglia so similar to the constellation of pines and cypress trees on the sides of the road that leads to it, to Tuscany with its gentle undulations crossed by the most well-known and typical tree-lined streets.
Built in 1614 on commission of a noble and pious polignanese, Vitantonius Zaclia, the building was later donated to the Church and used as a summer residence by the Bishop of Polignano.
Today, after years of a slow and careful restoration, the farm finally, reborn and restored in its entirety is offered to spend carefree moments and quiet, as it is absorbed in the soft shapes and shades of colors of the neighboring gardens, the fragrance of the orange nestled in the blade near the delicate chirping coming from a rare and unspoiled corner of the Mediterranean maquis.
