Deutschnofen lies at 1,359 m asl, in the middle of an enchanting landscape and surrounded by a unique mountain backdrop and is an ideal starting point for hikes and mountain tours. The high plateau is located in the south of South Tyrol and is embedded in the mountain range of the western Dolomites - part of the Unesco World Heritage since 2009. Sciliar, rose garden, the Marmolada, Latemar and Zanggen, black and white horn frame the landscape.

The center of Deutschnofen offers good shopping and refreshment opportunities as well as all services of private and public interest and is only 30 minutes by car from the South Tyrolean capital of Bolzano and approx. 50 minutes by car from the spa town of Merano.
