Summer guests can take long hikes to the nearby high alpine pastures and to the idyllic Wengsee on well-marked and well-maintained hiking trails. On the Mühlwalderjoch, high-alpine mountaineering trails lead past imposing mountain peaks to the Lappacher Jöchl and on to the Neves-Joch hut. The Kellerbauerweg also leads through the Tristental, a real treasure trove for mineral collectors. The Edelrauthütte on Eisbruggjoch should also be mentioned, since it is the base for high-alpine mountain hikes.
