But the real added value of Villa Ravino is the possibility of free access to the adjoining botanical park, which contains the largest collection of succulents and varied in Europe, and where the rare and exotic blend with lush Mediterranean flora. "Our project was born from the immense collection of succulent plants put together by my father at 50 years of passion and sea voyages. We decided to create a botanical garden that is a natural extension of the residence, a unique concept that aims at the fusion of a structure with a park. All with the aim to offer to holiday completely original. It is an experiment in development that will employ more years of hard work, but you know, the good things we do with time. Today, however, we are proud to present a part of the project in the final stage, the Lounge bar in the heart of the garden: an old agricultural relevance, in a typically Mediterranean architectural style, which offers café and tea room, in an environment surrounded by greenery, where walking the peacocks plumage by the superb emerald and gurgles Argentine stream of water lilies suffused with soft pastel colors. Here our guests can enjoy breakfast, a quick midday snack, or our Cactus cocktails, the real specialty of the house, which can be enjoyed in the enchanted light of sunsets Foriani, the finest hour here in the park, when the scent of the datura and cestrum almost to stun their intensity. Between the Villa and Gardens Ravino there are only a few steps to go through the charming room "Moby Dick", a space in an ancient cistern, with a splendid view over the sea, where alternate art exhibitions, craft or photography, scientific conferences, book presentations, workshops yoga or singing ... ".
To reach the property from the mainland, there is a handy stopover by hydrofoil in the marina of Forio, while the ports of Ischia and Ischia harbor where the ferries dock, just 10 or 20 minutes by car.
